Two important news from the NSW Government: a lobbyist register and a energy supply reform package.
Register for Lobbyists
The Government is establishing a register of professional lobbyists and introducing a Lobbyist Code of Conduct. The Lobbyist Code of Conduct will permit Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, Ministerial staff, staff working for a Parliamentary Secretary, and persons working in public sector agencies, only to be lobbied by professional lobbyists who have their details on a register of lobbyists.

Energy supply reform package
Premier Nathan Rees today unveiled a new reform package to secure the State’s future energy supplies. Mr Rees said that the package keeps existing generation assets in Government hands, encourages private sector investment in new generation and removes financial risk for the people of NSW.
